Today we have a lovely Martin 215 A-Style Mandolin from 1950. Hard to believe that after 67 years this mandolin has been kept in 100% original condition. The Martin 2-15 features a Sitka Spruce top, Flamed Maple back and sides, and Ebony fretboard and bridge. Tuning machines, tailpiece, bridge, and pick guard are all the original parts and still function well for their age. The body has seen its share of love over the years but structurally this mandolin is completely sound. She plays like a bandit! The neck angle is great and there is the perfect amount of neck relief so when it comes to playing the instrument you are not fighting it in any way. This mandolin aged extremely well and has become a great players instrument for its age. Includes HSC.
